We are delighted to announce that The Arts Club, based in London's Mayfair, is joining the agency’s roster of luxury brands.
With a remit to grow the profile of The Arts Club as a global brand in London and Dubai, the strategy will build on its reputation as the hub for contemporary cultural life in London, with a focus on developing its next-generation membership base.
Since it was founded in 1863, The Arts Club has provided a vibrant meeting place for its members – from literary luminaries, such as Charles Dickens and Rudyard Kipling, to the greatest artists of all time: Claude Monet, Auguste Rodin, Sir John Everett Millais and Edgar Degas, to name but a few. The Club continues to draw the creatively minded through a distinguished arts programme, including events and exhibitions, which will grow in 2024.
The account will be led by Joint Managing Partner, Nina Plowman, with the team consisting of Junior Account Director, Hannah McLaughlin; Senior Account Director, Zara Doshi - who leads the contemporary art programme; Digital Account Manager, Athena Diego; and Account Executive, Matt Bessant.
This win boosts our already strong client representation in the arts and luxury sectors including The European Fine Art Foundation (TEFAF), LAPADA Berkeley Square Fair, Champagne Laurent-Perrier, and rare and collectable whiskies across multiple brands, including The Last Drop Distillers.
“The original membership of The Arts Club comprised the ‘leading lights’ of the time from the artistic landscape. It is truly extraordinary that some of the most famous authors and artists that have ever lived once shared ideas in the club.
We’re now in a time where culture is being consumed differently, and we are looking forward to building on an already thriving art programme to create greater member engagement. Ultimately, we will bring people together through their shared passions of culture and appreciation of exceptional food and drink – areas in which CC is very well represented.”
Nina Plowman, Managing Partner at Cultural Communications
“We are delighted to be partnering with an agency who shares our passion for cultural connoisseurship. We are looking forward to collaborating with the team at Cultural Comms. Our upcoming initiatives and partnerships are some of our most exciting to date.”
