We are excited to be in a period of growth and are now recruiting an Account Executive to join our team working across a portfolio of cultural, global luxury wine and spirit, art and design accounts. A positive, enthusiastic attitude is a must, along with a great sense of humour and what we call 'cultural curiosity.’
Account Executive:
To carry out most of the day-to-day account execution and administration reporting to a senior account executive or account manager as appropriate. You should be a capable and confident operator who has a good, but still developing understanding of the required basic media and communication skills, and who is aware of the media tools available to create the required media coverage in all PR areas.
The role should be to carry out all support tasks as directed to execute strategies and activities as detailed by their account managers/directors and ensure that their accounts are well-organised and structured in terms of time, and manual and electronic filing.
Skill Requirements:
• Writing coherent and factually accurate press releases
• Producing internal copy for newsletters, internal briefings etc.
• Competent in all written communications, both internally and externally, to clients and journalists
• Proof-reading
• A growing understanding of how the media works in the particular areas in which you operate
• Building relationships with influencers and journalists
• Fully managing the process of press release distribution.
• Helping to sell-in items into media as directed
• Proactively looking for opportunities, working alongside managers
• Assisting in the organisation of events (small to large) ranging from workshops, photocalls, press conferences, training days etc. on behalf of clients
• Actively participate in meetings by helping in preparing for meetings and presenting elements as directed.
General Skills:
• Exceptional command of English, both spoken and written
• Strong copywriting skills - spelling/grammar/proof reading
• Creative flair and a can-do attitude
• Confident presentation skills
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with people on different levels
• Timekeeping: ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
